Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging. It also means "The way of flowers".
Born from the arrangements of Buddhist temples, ikebana is a Japanese discipline that unites nature, humanity, and spirituality. In its arrangements, the emphasis is placed on form, lines, and textures. Traditional arrangements follow certain compositional rules based on three key points forming a triangle that symbolizes Heaven, Man, and Earth.
Formed in the 17th century, the Koryu Shoutoukai school maintains traditional arrangement as the foundation of its floral compositions, but at the same time, it expresses modernity in its free-style creations.
To be discovered at Studio M from November 10th to 15th, 2026.
