Hélène Veilleux and Denis Forcier
invite you to the opening of their exhibition
Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
at Studio M, 211 Milton Street in Montreal.
The exhibition will be held from November 18 to 23, 2025.
The gallery's opening hours are from noon to 6 p.m. every day.
Hélène Veilleux
Hélène Veilleux is an artist eager for experiences and knowledge. Her practice of tai chi in 1999 led her to develop an interest in Asian culture. Her teacher, Danièle Grenier, a passionate artist, introduced her to Chinese painting and Japanese calligraphy. This was followed by a significant trip to China and three extended stays in Japan to refine her art.
In this exhibition, Hélène Veilleux will sensitively and skillfully introduce you to the little-known world of Japanese and Chinese paintings and calligraphy.
Denis Forcier
Denis Forcier conducted his first visual experiments with the Graff crew in 1977. The common thread running through all his work is to extend everyday observation by offering multiple views of the same reality. To achieve this, he uses numerous techniques, including screen printing on various supports, filters, lenses, stereoscopy, digital processing, and four-color printing.
The exhibition brings together selected works, giving them renewed visibility but at prices lower than their current market value, to the delight of enthusiasts and collectors.
