This exhibition celebrates the memory and transatlantic work of Gerhard Fröbel,
whose life was a constant dialogue with 20th century painters.
Trained in Amsterdam and Munich by eminent professors, his significant encounters with artists encouraged him in his aesthetic research.

Drawing on his mastery of space and color, he then took up the challenge of transforming this fluid technique onto formats of more than one meter.
